The PTA has been an integral part of the school community for many years. The committee of the PTA are always looking for new recruits so if you are interested in joining the PTA or offering support on an ad hoc basis please contact Cat Roberson – PTA@birchanger.essex.sch.uk

In its time the PTA has raised thousands and thousands of pounds. We are very lucky to be supported by a great team of willing volunteers who give their time to raise money. This has been spent on equipment and resources to enhance our children’s education experience and the school’s facilities.

Over the last few years the PTA have given the school a new quiet space in our playground  and over £1,000 of library books. They have also supported our families by funding a trip to the pantomime.

During 2022/23 the PTA provided laptops and I-pads to support learning across the curriculum and they are working with school staff to review how more support can be given.  Last year the PTA funded a number of trips for the children including visits to Duxford Air Museum and the pantomime at Christmas.
